Job Summary

Moog is recruiting for three Product Engineers to join our team based in Reading, this is a crucial, hands-on technical role as it provides an essential link between our customers’ needs and delivery of our business goals. Our organisation is focused on cutting-edge technology, high quality performance and exceeding expectation which means you must be too.

You will provide engineering solutions for new products and improvements to on-going projects across the company; you will have experience in the full “design for manufacture and assembly” process. This includes advising on factors affecting quality, schedule, and cost. You will encompass design, manufacturing and verification to ensure the product is produced correctly and to specification. 

You’ll seek improvement opportunities for Moog’s product whether this connected with single component issues or through patterns of investigation. Your technical expertise and the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships will be fundamental.

Key Expertise

  • Degree, ONC/D or HNC/D in relevant subjects which could include Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or Similar with a minimum 3 year’s work experience in a hands-on technical role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD, design for manufacture, technical drawings and wiring schematics
  • Working knowledge of modern manufacturing methods including Lean processes
  • Knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical fault finding or testing.

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
