Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group is looking for a Hydro-Mechanical Engineer to join our Test Equipment department based in Tewkesbury. The primary function of this role is to ensure the continued operation of deployed test equipment in support of the product life cycle.

In this role, you will work closely with our customers, and a team of Test Equipment technicians, in all aspects of test systems sustainment. The test systems are comprised of mechanical, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution components.

To be successful in this role you must be able to show that you have the ability to function in a demanding engineering and production environment dealing with all aspects of test equipment sustainment and be able to demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to proactively manage multiple tasks and priorities.

We are keen to hear from creative and collaborative team players whether you are just starting out in your engineering career at an Associate level or you are an Engineer with several years of post-graduate experience.

Key Expertise

  • Associate Engineer – you will have recently graduated or have completed a technical engineering apprenticeship in addition to some suitable experience.
  • Engineer – able to work autonomously and can demonstrate your technical capability and ability to provide advice and technical direction to junior staff as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering disciple as a minimum (Mechanical, Electrical, Project Management, Aeronautical).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and underlying theory. Experience in one or more of the following: JIRA, Pirana, Maximo, NX, or AutoCAD is advantageous.
