Motor Assembler B - Murphy, NC – Part Time Shifts Available

1st Shift – M-Th 7am-3:30pm & Friday 6am – 2:30pm
2nd Shift - 1pm - 5pm
2nd Shift 5pm – 9pm
Pay rate starts at $13.00/hr. and benefits begin your first day of work!
(2nd shift offers 10% additional shift differential)
The BDC Motor Assembler B performs a limited number of sub-assembly operations on brushless DC motors.
Responsibilities:
- Operations include simple set-ups and limited responsibility for parts selection and print interpretation.
- Stator assembly (wind, form, impregnate, twist and hide).
- Partial rotor assembly.
- Housing assembly (installing stators and PC Board assemblies).
- Lamination assembly (install & bite standoffs, cleans stacks).
- Partial PC board assembly (installing terminals, grommets, cable ties and connector housings).
- Other duties include maintaining production records and reporting irregularities to supervisor.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good vision with the ability to identify and distinguish color.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to effectively learn and perform various assembly tasks.
- Willing to work overtime, including Saturdays, if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Prior experience using tools and gauges.
