Job Summary

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Digital Services Manager to join our Tewkesbury Moog Industrial Group site. The Digital Services Manager will be responsible for developing clear value propositions and value realisation plans for each digital service. The role will champion digital technologies and their increased utilization in the organisation in order to drive greater adoption and ultimately greater business optimization. The position will need to ensure the existing service management system is sustained and built upon as a foundation. This will be key in shifting towards greater focus on business value and alignment of these services with our global business processes and work streams.

The successful candidate will need to feel comfortable engaging at all levels in the organisation and be equally effective discussing concepts with senior leadership through to operational managers.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & management of the digital services teams
  • Development, promotion and communication of the service value plans and propositions associated with the digital services
  • Leadership and oversight of the digital services management system and overriding governance
  • Contribute towards early identification and development of business cases/value definitions
  • Oversight of key digital service deliverables and projects, ensuring commitments around timescales, costs and quality are being met
  • Play a key role in evangelizing the broader digital transformation
  • Identification of new or extensions to existing digital services to address new business demands or opportunities
  • Able to establish an effective team whilst building a broader base of internal digital capability/expertise for the future
     

Key skills

  • Degree in Business IT, Engineering or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Previous manufacturing industry experience
  • Has a strong grasp of the overall business operating model and underlying horizontal business processes
  • Proven track record in a senior IT or business leadership position within a multinational company
  • Digitalization experience and leadership experience
  • Highly effective change agent who engages with senior stakeholders to evangelize digital optimization within the organization
  • Has a very collaborative engagement style in order to synthesize different interests and information in order to help shape a path for change
