As an Operational Technology IT Solution Support Specialist you'll be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of tools and services to gather, analyze and report data relating to technology asset life cycles. You will provide input to process development that enables reliable data collection and transparent reporting to meet global business requirements such as IT cost, security and license compliance, and budget planning.
In this position you’ll be expected to:
Strive to improve IT Asset Management maturity by working with IT process owners to monitor for and proactively address changes that impact data consistency and introduce risk or opportunity. This includes analysis of Enterprise IT Intake requests, IT Purchase and Service requests, IT Change requests, organizational restructures, new contractual terms and conditions, product lifecycle changes, and external regulatory requirements.
Here is an idea of what you'll be accountable for:
- Lead the technical implementation and configuration of IT asset license management solutions including appropriate integration with other sources of data, through sound change control procedures, to provide a comprehensive toolset that optimizes inventory and entitlement data completeness and accuracy.
- Consult with stakeholders to determine, maintain, and publish agreed and unambiguous IT asset definitions with persistent identifiers.
- Consult with IT Operations and business budget owners to understand requirements and configure IT asset management tools to keep records for life cycle planning, budget planning, security, cost savings and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Design and deliver reports that support IT Software Asset Management objectives such as internal and external audits, IT global user and device footprint, license reconciliation and remediation efforts, and scheduled true-up and renewal activities.
- Stay current with compliance and regulatory issues in the industry in relationship to legal, tax, license and other regulatory compliance. Recommend new procedures and configure IT asset management system as needed to support compliance tracking.
- Review internal and external audit conclusions and consult with ITAM team and business owners regarding the appropriate management plans to mitigate risks identified by audit.
- Interact with suppliers as needed for identification, monitoring, and mitigation of potential risks and issues with asset management business practices and processes.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of tools and processes that integrate IT Asset Management with other functional areas in support of Moog and IT strategic direction.
Minimum Qualifications to be considered:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) college degree in a technical discipline
- Minimum of eight (8) years of Progressive Experience in software licensing, compliance, contracts and licensing terms
- Experience with internal and external audits for both license and process compliance.
- Experience with Moog systems, processes, policies, and procedures is preferred.
- Possess excellent communication, listening, problem resolution, and analytical skills; operate effectively in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
- Key competencies include the ability to think strategically and creatively about standardized and automated IT solutions that deliver value while controlling costs to Moog.
- Proactive approach to developing and integrating new ideas, strategies and concepts that enable transparent IT cost reporting while complying with internal policies/instructions and external controls.
- Experience leading efforts that increase IT system and process integrity.
- Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
