Job Summary

Moog is looking to recruit a Project Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the project management team at our Reading facility. Moog Reading continues to see its slip ring technology being adopted as the preferred choice in an expanding variety of applications within the Space and Defence Sector.

 

The role primarily focuses on the delivery of New Product Introduction projects, helping the organisation to achieve its business goals and strategic growth ambitions.  As a Project Leader, you will manage multiple concurrent projects, working collaboratively with all functional departments and our customers, to drive projects to a successful outcome.

 

What will make you stand out is your ability to develop a strong working relationship with both your internal and external stakeholders, enabling you to see the bigger picture and be able to plan operationally and strategically. You’ll be creative, able to react quickly and appropriately to different situations, and have the ability to bring people along with you.

 

Key Expertise

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an engineering design and manufacturing environment.

• Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to allow you to work effectively with the project teams and stakeholders, and to be used effectively in handling customer relations in a positive manner regardless of the situation.

• Proficient with IT tools for data analyses and communication, e.g., MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

• The ability to produce high-quality documentation including schedules, risk registers, and detailed reports.

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic or a Project Management related discipline is preferred.
