As a AEM Senior Developer/Architect, you will help to realize high-end technology solutions for our external websites. You will design, develop and roll-out the solutions using modern technologies and ways of working along with our internal and external team. The Adobe AEM Senior Developer serves as a technical project leader on major applications development and enhancement projects. You will Work closely with cross functional teams (including teams on the customer side), make the link between business requirements and the technical constraints with focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Here is an idea of what you’ll be accountable for:
- Act as a key player in our Adobe Project team providing your Adobe Experience Manager experience to design and implement projects focusing on process, form, and output digitization.
- As a Senior Adobe Architect / Expert, you will be responsible for providing business and technical advice to our internal clients and implementing client projects.
- You are an expert in using the Adobe AEM technology stack (OSGi Services, Sling, JCR, HTL, MSM, components, customization of the AEM interface, Dispatcher).
- Develop powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media, etc.
- Drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution.
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation.
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for content & collaboration solutions.
- Responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration and operating procedures to liaison with 3rd party application development consultants.
- Responsible for keeping critical applications and systems online and usable.
- Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills, applying their learning and experience to even the most difficult technical challenges.
- Ensure continuing operational quality by documenting issues/bugs and enhancement requests in close collaboration with Project Managers & Product Owners.
- Responsible for planning the migration of existing outlier sites to AEM and preparing for future integrations of other sites.
- Supporting the external AEM developers and UX team in defining AEM page tree structure, components, workflows, rights, and roles model, etc.
- Content creation itself will be handled by other positions, but it would be good if you have experience with content creation.
- You also attend meetings and conferences, are interested in innovations and developments in the Adobe environment and enjoy passing on knowledge to your colleagues.
Here are the skills you will bring with you:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in: Computer Science or Technology, Engineering, or related discipline) -OR-
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience without a college degree
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in the development, integration, implementation, and deployment of AEM foundational concepts and components with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) version >= 6.4
- Must possess a solid understanding with demonstrated experience using all of Adobe AEM building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., as well as the AEM development and deployment processes.
- Must possess strong knowledge, understanding, and experience of SPA SDK features, AEM Model.json, sling models, and content as a service model.
- Expert level development skills using JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST 2 years of experience in JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS
- Ideally, in addition to experience with AEM Sites, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, for example, you have knowledge of AEM Assets, AEM Forms, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or multi-solution projects with the Adobe products.
- Ideally good experience in AEM Cloud setup and migration projects.
- Strong business acumen
- This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
- Travel required up to 5%
