Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group are currently recruiting for an Assembler Tester to join the Tewkesbury site. Within this role you will carry out sub-assembly and disassembly tasks in A&T on Valves, Manifolds and Actuators. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work from approved documentation to include engineering drawings, worksheets and other written instruction such as WIs, ATWs, RTWs, CMMs, EEIs, EIs, EEPs, EPs and CAMS.
  • Accurately record data on operation sheets and travellers where necessary
  • Responsible for inspection of own work in line with Quality Audit
  • Work in and maintain a clean work environment
  • Assemble/Disassemble components using a range of hand tools, gauges and measuring equipment
  • Adapt lean principles in line with Moog principles.
  • Standard Time – 100% achievement of target
  • Quality – Adherence to relevant quality standard
  • Works in a safe environment and in a safe manner

 

Key skills

  • HNC/HND (vocational, professional, or advanced) or equivalent in the field of mechanical/production engineering (Desirable)
  • Apprentice Trained
  • Experience in the field of tooling and fixture design and manufacture.
  • Knowledge and exposure to the following processes would be beneficial. 
  • EDM Die Sink & Wire
  • Honing
  • Lapping
  • Grinding
  • Flow Deburring
  • Anodising
  • Heat treatment
