Hybrid IT Delivery Team Lead
Moog’s Corporate Group is hiring for a Hybrid IT Delivery Team Lead.
The Hybrid IT Delivery Team Lead acts as the servant-leader for one or more IT Solution Development Teams and ensures that the team functions as a whole and meets its objectives. The IT Solution Development Teams operate in a hybrid environment, with the management and delivery approach for each project being determined by the nature of the project. The Hybrid IT Delivery Team Lead role therefore requires a focus on flexibility.
This role works with the team to plan and coordinate all aspects of product delivery at the team level. The role works in cooperation with Project Managers, Release Train Engineer and fellow Hybrid IT Delivery Team Leads to ensure that the team activities are appropriately aligned.
Activity within this role will utilize both agile and non-agile techniques in varying degrees from project to project, with the initial emphasis on planning and plan execution monitoring. The range of activities includes:
- Facilitating the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products
- Encouraging full participation of team members within their defined roles, responsibilities, and empowerment
- Ensuring that the iterative development process is properly focused and controlled
- Managing risks and issues at the team level, escalating to the Project Manager and Release Train Engineer as required
- Monitoring progress on a day-to-day basis for all team activities
- Facilitating communication of team progress with the Project Manager, Release Train Engineer and other Team Leads
- Facilitating team events, ensuring they are timeboxed and following proper practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience or an equivalent of 6 years of related experience may be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with agile practices
- Experience as a project team member
- Experience working with diverse, international teams
