As an IT Policy & Process Maturity Manager in Moog’s Corporate Group, you will maintain overall responsibility for developing and maintaining IT policies according to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Further, you would provide support for IT line organizations across the Enterprise in the collaborative development of processes & procedures that support policy compliance, and deepen the organizations commitment to cyber security best practices and quality of service delivery. Responsibility for developing and managing policies and processes for cyber security and privacy is an important part of this role. As a logical extension of this work, you will also develop and manage a policy exception process. This position will report to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Principle Accountabilities

Overall responsibility for developing and maintaining IT policy, process and standards.

Manage collaborative process between IT and other business groups for Cyber Security and Privacy policies, processes and compliance.

Provide support for IT Line Organizations to collaboratively develop processes and policies, respond to customer needs, and support audit requirements.

Identify and understand emerging compliance requirements, as passed down from corporate policy, DoD / DFARS regulations, customers, and other relevant authorities.

Assess, revise, and roll out policies and procedures as needed to maintain IT compliance.

Develop and manage a Policy Exception Process.
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree (vocational or professional) in Information Systems, Business Management or a related discipline.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.

Broad IT experience across applications development, infrastructure, operations, and service delivery.

Familiarity with relevant policy and process frameworks

You must combine strong detail orientation with the ability to operate strategically and influence others.

Experience in planning, developing, and rolling out information technology policies, procedures and practices.

Strong communication skills (written and oral), particularly with government/legal agencies and external/internal customers.

Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including information security and privacy-based solutions.

Ability to translate understanding of the organization's goals and objectives into policy and process requirements.

Proven general capabilities in the following: initiating action, adaptability, building strategic working relationships, decision-making, stress tolerance, communication, and planning & organizing.

Excellent written, oral and media-based communication skills. Demonstrated competence communicating with executive/senior leaders as well as staff.

Strong collaboration and team orientation
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with IT audit (either directly as an auditor, or as a participant in audits), would be beneficial.
Location: East Aurora, NY or within a 2 - 3 hour drive from our Corporate office in East Aurora, NY. We may consider candidates near other U.S. Moog sites.
This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
