Aircraft Group - Supply Chain Program Manager
Moog Aircraft Group is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to join our East Aurora, New York site. Reporting to the Supply Chain Program Director based in our East Aurora site, the Supply Chain Program Manager will be the vital interface between Business Sector program teams and the various functions within the Global Supply Chain organization.
Accountabilities:
- Program management of supplier New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, ensuring close collaboration and integration across the global Supply Chain organization, Business Sector Program teams, and other business functions to achieve the program objectives
- Program/project management of supply chain projects using best practice project management tools and processes to manage quality, technical, schedule, and cost requirements. This includes monitoring and management of supply chain risks associated with the assigned program/project. Ensuring compliance with Moog policies, processes contractual requirements (e.g., FAR/DFAR and offset requirements)
- Program management of supplier proposal requirements across multiple Commodity teams to ensure on-time and compliant supplier proposals to support new business pursuits and existing customer contracts amendments/extensions. This includes representing the Business Sector Program team in the Supplier Selection process
- Program management of supplier changes, including but not limited to supplier notifications that require customer notification or approval. This includes working with Contracts and/or Business Sector Program Managers to ensure timely customer responses to avoid potential Supply Chain disruptions
- Program management of Production and Global Support requirements to achieve alignment on supply chain strategies and priorities for Production, Entry into Service (EIS), and In-Service requirements including retrofit programs
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to determine supply chain requirements and priorities for the assigned project/program.
- Effectively program manage the requirements and priorities across the global Supply Chain organization. This includes identifying and driving improvements and providing support to resolve issues affecting, or at risk of affecting supply chain performance.
- Providing supply chain support to Business Sector Program Managers for customer communications and customer meetings including audits and assessment
- Analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on supply chain financial performance for the assigned program/project. This includes but is not limited to cost to plan activity in support of program financial reporting requirements (e.g., long-term accounting)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject. A relevant advanced (graduate level) degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ supply chain or program/project management experience in a relevant industry.
- Demonstrable supply chain or program/project management experience gained in the Aerospace Industry is essential for success. The ideal candidate will have previously worked with Military programs; however, this isn’t essential for the right person.
- Knowledge and experience of working with contractual requirements such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), REACH, AEO, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements, and Import/Export regulation requirements, including but not limited to US military regulations, EAR, and ITAR.
- Demonstrated business acumen, with the ability to engage and influence the right organizational resources to resolve customer problems quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills are required in the form of written, verbal, and formal presentation. Must be able to collaborate and influence across multiple functions, cultures, and geographic regions to achieve supply chain performance requirements.
- Regular business travel and a flexible approach to working hours may be required to manage supply chain requirements across multiple global sites/regions in different time zones
- This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
- Ability to relocate to East Aurora, New York (Erie County Area) preferred. A flexible/hybrid work schedule may be considered.
