Supply Chain Process Manager

Job Summary:

Our Industrial Group in East Aurora, NY is hiring for a Supply Chain Process Manager.  Under the direction of the Supply Chain Product Line Lead for the Growth Value Stream, this role is responsible for the execution of an effective internal and external supply chain for the assigned product lines. The Growth Value Stream encompasses product lines including, but not limited to: Hydraulic Actuators, Small Electro-Mechanical Actuators, Oil & Gas Products, Brokered Products, Drives, and the recent addition of the Moog Mobile Machinery (Moog Construction) business, which is inclusive of the Electric Construction Vehicle development and product launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing the Value Stream Strategies within Supply Chain. 
  • Responsible for both Internal and External supply chain execution (Planning & Procurement).
  • Responsible for Supply Chain Risk Management Plans (Identification, Assess, and Manage).
  • Responsible for supporting the Supply Chain portion of entire Product life cycle.
  • Responsible for leading day to day activities within the Supply Chain to meet current commitments.

Key Results of the Job:

  • Planning: Support risk analysis & mitigation planning
  • Buying: Support make / buy decisions that are aligned to PL strategies
  • Leadership: Demonstrate and support multi-tiered leadership
  • Problem solving: Demonstrate and support preventative and systemic corrective actions
  • Continuous improvement: Demonstrate and support idea generation and implementation

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical discipline.
  • Minimum five years of supply chain, program management, or operations experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business or technical field is desired.
  • Proven specific capabilities in negotiations and dealing with suppliers and/or customers.
  • Proven specific capabilities in leading cross functional teams driving change to effect bottom line profits.
  • Exposure to SAP.
  • CPM or APICS Certification desired.

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
