Mill Machining Cell Utility Operator- 2nd and/or 3rd Shift

CNC Mill Machining Cell Utility Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shift
Responsibilities:
- Set up & run multiple CNC Milling machines with heavy inspection and documentation.
- Follow detailed work instructions and inspection practices.
- Deburr, clean and inspect parts utilizing numerous methods.
- Must be comfortable with various inspection processes and practices.
- Participate in the planning of work and resolving problems within the Cell using team skills and experience.
- Inspect all work performed and detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts as well as recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
- Positively contribute to the teamwork environment in terms of productivity, cooperation, data collection, and attitude.
- May be required to support production anywhere within the Manufacturing Shop and other duties may be assigned by manager.
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- At least one year of mill machining experience
- In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to use shop math, work from charts, tables, drawings, blueprints, operation sheets, and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated ability to use adjustable measuring instruments much as micrometers, calipers, height stands and multiple other measuring devices.
- Capable of continuous mental and visual attention on typically repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity
- Physical effort consisting of lifting or moving products and material frequently, average weight occasionally and heavyweight rarely
- Ability to perform diversified operations following standard procedures
- Use of judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions to support production goals within the cell
- Ability to work overtime, Saturday/Sunday as required to meet production goals
- Must be able to work 2nd shift
